Starke Agency, Inc., Montgomery’s oldest independent insurance agency, is pleased to announce the recent hire of Anna Watts, our newest Commercial Account Advisor. Watts graduated from Troy University in December of 2017 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management & Insurance.
Anna comes to us with not only a degree in the field, but also brings with her a few years of experience in the field at such a young age. “We are pleased to continue the development of young talent to help our agency succeed in the future”, said Bolling (Trey) P. Starke, III, President of Starke Agency, Inc. “National media outlets have reported that 25 percent of the insurance industry workforce is within five years of retirement age. We will aggressively address this looming shortfall within our industry.”
Prior to being hired at Starke Agency, Inc., Anna gained experience at Turner & Hamrick, an Assured Partners Company in Troy, AL, where through promotions, she had risen to the position of Account Manager.
