Starke Agency Retains Best Practice Status for 2009

Montgomery, Alabama, August 26, 2009 – Starke Agency, Inc., an insurance brokerage and risk management company, has retained its industry Best Practice status for 2009.
Since 1993 the IIAB and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management consulting firm, have joined forces every year to study the country’s leading agencies in six revenue categories. The agencies comprising the study groups are selected every third year through a comprehensive nomination and qualifying process and awarded a “Best Practices Agency” designation. The selected “Best Practices” agencies retain their status during the three-year cycle by submitting extensive financial and operational data for review each year.
Only 195 agencies across the nation qualify for this exclusive Best Practices Study. To be chosen, an agency has to be among the 25-35 top-performing agencies in one of six revenue categories. Also, the agency has to be nominated by either an IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company and qualify based on its operational excellence.
